Amandine is a French visual artist living in Toronto.<\/span><\/p>\n

After a Fine Art  and Textile Degree in Paris, and several years of travels, she begins filling notebooks with alteration, traces, and prints. She collects anything that can tell a story and incorporates it into her creations to preserve the moment and explore traces of use and time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Between salvaging, accumulation, and conservation her paintings are comprised of fabrics, plants and writings, they’ve been dyed, layered, worn, and torn. Damaged,swaddled. mended. faded. Her collages reveal the work of time, they emphasize memories, objects, pieces of life to keep a link with the  past.<\/span><\/p>\n

Protect despite the power of time, a state of trace, a souvenir, a part of yourself already gone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Amandine has exhibited her works in different parts of the world (South Korea, USA, France) she now works in Canada where she shares her passion of memories through different art shows.<\/span><\/p>\n

Amandine est artiste plasticienne, elle vit \u00e0 Toronto.<\/span><\/p>\n

Elle a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 \u00e0 Paris. Sa licence d\u2019Arts Plastiques et de Design Textile en poche, elle d\u00e9cide de parcourir le monde et commence \u00e0 remplir des carnets de recherche sur l\u2019alt\u00e9ration, la trace, l\u2019empreinte. Elle collecte tout ce qui l\u2019\u00e9meut, raconte une histoire, pour mieux l\u2019int\u00e9grer ensuite \u00e0 ses cr\u00e9ations, comme autant d\u2019explorations des traces et de l\u2019usure du temps qui passe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Entre r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration, accumulation et conservation, ses peintures sont faites de tissus, de v\u00e9g\u00e9taux  et d\u2019\u00e9critures retravaill\u00e9es par la teinture, la superposition, l\u2019usure\u2026enveloppes accident\u00e9es, repris\u00e9es, emmaillot\u00e9es, pass\u00e9es par les ann\u00e9es, elles mettent en valeur le travail du temps pour d\u00e9voiler des souvenirs, des bribes d\u2019objets, des morceaux de vie et ainsi garder un lien avec ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prot\u00e9ger malgr\u00e9 la force du temps, l\u2019\u00e9tat de trace, le souvenir, une partie de soi qui s\u2019en va d\u00e9j\u00e0…<\/span><\/p>\n

Amandine a expos\u00e9 ses cr\u00e9ations dans plusieurs parties du monde (Cor\u00e9e du Sud, USA, France) et travaille maintenant au Canada o\u00f9 elle partage sa passion pour les souvenirs, notamment au travers de vernissage.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
